it seems that it will be very hard for hillary to win the democratic primary by elected votes. tpm has a good analysis of the different number scenarios: what i hope won’t happen is that she does go through and wants to win with the help of the super delegates. if she does that she will maybe win the primary, but will lose the election. by doing so she will have pissed off any independent voter, will have proven the point that washington is all about power and individual enrichment, and will have unillusioned thousands if not millions of young voters who have just gotten into the democratic party (just gotten into politics in a lot of cases).

I am a product of the NAFTA agreement. My job was outsourced in 2001. I am back in school at 55 years old trying to regain some momentum in earning some income. It is 2008. I have a Master’s degree and I am working on a Doctor of Education degree and I am still making less than I did in 2001. My bills have not gone down one bit. As a matter of fact my insurance costs have skyrocketed, my dentists no longer coordinates the benefits between my company and my husband’s company so I can’t afford to go to the dentist even though I have dental insurance. My credit card bills have doubled because I can only afford minimum payment and the interest rates have gone over 30%, it costs me twice as much to get to work because of the cost of gas. So the only thing I do is go to work. I can’t afford to use my car for anything else. Believe it or not, I am not complaining…I am working but I’m only working to keep creditors off of my back and a roof over my head. I don’t want Hillary because she makes too many concessions and claims too much credit for what someone else has done. She says she’s tested…as what? First Lady and heading the 1993 Task Force on National Healthcare Reform? That hardly constitutes “tested.” Bill Clinton was a good President for the country. Hillary is a chameleon. I have heard her recite Barack’s words as though they were her own. She changes her demeanor with every crowd she talks too. At one point she was on the news at an African American church sounding like a African American Preacher!
I am voting for Barack because my life depends on the type of change he can bring to the country. I want to use my education and my skills to work to enhance my life, I want to invest my energy in good works in a company that will appreciate and value me…not one who got me cheap because of the state of the nation and who shortchanges me because there is no one to stop them. I don’t want more of the same greedy, immoral, underhanded leadership that is in office today! Sure, Hillary is better than McCain, but Barack is the answer! Our survival, our dignity, our health, our welfare depends upon Barack Obama becoming the next President of the United States. The entire world will be better off!

All the Clinton political signs say “Hillary” in big letters. You need to search for Obama’s name on his signs. Clinton says “I”, whereas Obama says “We.” Do you think that Clinton is about anything but herself?

Dont give up.
even if he is blocked from teh democratic nomination by the Bill-da-beast, he will have the support of the people with an independent run.
the bueuracrats and power brokers in washington do not feel the ground shaking… but it is.
the time is for the next generation.
I am a conservative republican who voted for Obama. Will again.
Not because I agree with him on every issue. Not against Hillary. But because I actually think he understands the role of the president, the division of powers shared with congress, and the remaining rights of the states and the people.
never panic
never give up hope
